Things to Make and Where to Donate

Again, please check out any charity that you are considering donating your items to.  These might be tougher to check out with the BBB but see if they have a forum where folks are talking about the work they do or just sit down and ask Spirit to guide you.  You will know where and whom to help.

Put any craft with the words "for Charity" behind it into your favorite search engine and pages and pages will come up.  It doesn't matter if you are able to spend a lot of time making many items or just one or two a year.  If you are at all interested in the idea of crafting for charity you can also look into the possibilities to help out in your own home town.  Hospitals, Nursing homes, Homeless centers, Crisis centers, or get together with a few like minded friends and create your own Charity Group to support whomever you would like to.  Don't forget to check with military bases or Guard groups if you are interested in crafting for our soldiers either overseas or here at home.

If you need help looking for a specific situation or where to donate your craft email me and I will do everything in my power to find the right situation.  Crafted items are needed to warm, bring comfort and even to bring joy into someone's heart that is feeling like there is no future in their lives.

As far as food for Charities goes I believe the Feeding America group, formerly Second Harvest is probably your best resource for links and ideas.  Please visit them at Feeding America.
